Thinking about your broken or damaged FASTag? Don’t worry; you can easily get a duplicate from a FASTag issuing bank or agency. There are two ways to get a copy or replace a FASTag. One can either apply for a new one from a different supplier or re-issue a duplicate tag from the existing bank or agency, provided that the existing FASTag supplier can re-issue it.

There is no need to replace the FASTag sticker unless it’s damaged. However, if your car’s front windshield is broken, there is wear and tear on the tag, or the FASTag sticker falls off, it can’t be used again. Then, the only option is to place an order for a duplicate FASTag sticker at an applicable charge.

How do you replace Damaged Fastag Online from the Bank Portal?

• Visit the Official bank portal:
• Log in with your registered mobile number and password.
• Go to “Manage FASTag” and select “Replace FASTag.”
• Verify account & vehicle details.
• Choose “Damaged” as the reason for replacement.
• Pay the replacement fee.
• Your new FASTag will be delivered within 2-3 working days.

How to get duplicate FASTag using Paytm?

If your FASTag is damaged/broken/not working, please do not place a new order. It is best to apply for a replacement tag through Paytm. Follow the steps below to get a duplicate FASTag via Paytm.

• Download and open the Paytm app on your mobile device.
• Type FASTag in the search bar to see the list of services Paytm offers.
• Scroll down to find the Replace tag option and click on it.
• A new page will open where you can see your Vehicle Registration number. Check to see if it’s correct.
• After confirmation, you’ll have to upload the image of your RC (both front and back).
• You will see the charges for ordering a duplicate FASTag sticker upon this. The amount is approximately Rs. 100, including the Tax Insurance fee, GST, and FASTag balance.
• Enter the delivery address or make changes to the previously mentioned one as required.
• Pay and your order will be placed for the duplicate FASTag.
• After completing the process, it will take around four to five business days for your duplicate FASTag to get delivered.

The vehicle owner can also approach the FASTag Issuer Agency (Paytm) for the replacement.

OR

You must call the Paytm customer care number at 1800 2100 104 to block your existing FASTag. Once you take a new account, it will be linked to your old tag account, and the issuer agency will transfer the balance amount to the new FASTag account.

How to get Replacement/ Re-issuance of HDFC Bank FASTag

To get the replacement of your HDFC bank FASTag, follow the given steps:

• Place an order for replacement/re-issuance of HDFC Bank FASTag by visiting the 1Pay Fastag page at https://pay.1paypg.in/onepayVAS/1PayFastagPayment.jsp.
• Next, enter your mobile and vehicle number.
• Select the tag type “Tag Replacement.”
• Make a payment of Rs. 100 plus convenience charges as a replacement fee. Check the minimum balance in the wallet before placing the order request. 
• In case of a change in home address, update your registered address before placing a replacement request.
• After filling in all the details, submit the request.

After successful submission, the new FASTag will be sent to your registered address in three to four days.

How do you get a FASTag Replacement from ICICI Bank?

Get a replacement for your lost/damaged ICICI FASTag by contacting the bank on their toll-free number- 1800 2100 104. Tell them your concern and ask for a replacement for your damaged FASTag.

Your new ICICI FASTag will be delivered to your registered address. Your old FASTag balance will also be transferred to your new FASTag account.

How do you get a replacement for lost/broken/damaged SBI FASTag online?

In case your SBI FASTag gets damaged, you should approach your FASTag issuing bank, i.e., State Bank of India, and request them for a replacement.

You can contact the bank by calling the SBI FASTag customer care toll-free number at 1800 11 0018 and requesting they reissue you with a new FASTag. The remaining balance of your old FASTag account will be transferred to the new SBI FASTag account.

Note: As of now, Airtel doesn’t have a provision for issuing a duplicate fastag. So, if your Airtel FASTag is damaged, it is advisable to get a new one from a different bank or supplier.
