With a driving distance of approximately six hours, a road trip from Lucknow to Mathura
will give you a pleasant experience. One can easily cover the distance by taking the Agra-
Lucknow Expressway or Yamuna Expressway. Lucknow, fondly called the City of Nawabs,
and Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, are two of the most popular cities in India.
One can also make a stop at Agra to visit the famous Taj Mahal.
With the increased traffic during daytime or rush hours, it is best to plan your journey in
advance. There are two toll gates/plazas between Lucknow and Mathura, and one has to
pay the set toll charges to continue with their journey.
